Hair Day

I'm getting bored of my job at Topshop.


My feet hurt for standing for so long too.

Thank GoD I have 2 days off a week.
I pity the full timers who have to work like cows..
6 days a week weh 0_o


Anyway,
I had dinner with Dannidane Didane at Italiannies, 1 Utama yesterday after work.

He took this picture with his uber hightech mobile. :D

Anyway,
Today I'm off so I decided to trim my hair.

I didn't go to Peekaboo as usual because Ms LawJunChin recommended HairZone @ Paramount.

The place just opened,
so they're giving a 30% off everything until the end of this month.

JunChin had high praise to sing for the service
"Wah.. my parking ticket expire and police samaning also they ran and paid for me... damn nice!"

I say.... customer service was so-so only lah.

When I called to enquire where the place was, the receptionist like tak mau layan only.

Turnoff weh. : /

Oh well, maybe she was having a bad day.

Peekaboo staff are still friendlier to me.

Then again,
Peekaboo also charges double :X

My haircut just cost RM28 while Peekaboo charges around RM50 *cheaper if you have a student card* and my hairstylist at Hairzone really took great pains to ensure my haircut was perfect.

He spent around an hour on my hair while my stylist at Peekaboo spends a maximum of 15 minutes.

I guess its how you look at it though.

Eventhough my stylist at Peekaboo doesn't spend as long, the outcome is almost always good.
If I wanted a quick wash and cut,
I'd probably go to Peekaboo.

Hairzone kept me for so long I was starting to fidget in my seat.
People who like the feeling of being pampered should definately frequent Hairzone. :D

I honestly cannot decide if I like my hair or not.

I don't usually go for the layered look because I have really thin hair and layers make my hair seem even thinner.

I forgot to tell the stylist not to layer my hair too much though and this is what I got...

Alrighttttt........ maybe it seems kind of alike my old hair but it IS different.

The photos just don't capture the essence of it all.

I'm contemplating cutting my hair shoulder length short if I really don't like my layers to get rid of it all.

Short Update

1.Watch The Lake House, trust me.

Watch it with a special someone or if you do NOT have a special someone, watch it with someone you can cry on.

2. Watching girls drag their boyfriends into Topshop has made me miss having one.
Watching Lake House didn't help.
Then again, I'm still as picky as ever so I guess a boyfriend is not an option at the moment.

When I was making reservations at Shogun, 1Utama last Thursday,
I noticed this sign outside which said

"No Taking Photographs On Food"

I should have photographed the signboard and sent it to Star.
As if anyone would be jakun enough to climb on top of the food to take pictures.
That would be taking the art of camwhoring to a new height weh. -_"

This is my first time here and I find the food merely passable.
And as you can see..... 80% of what I took was Salmon.

That was also ALL I took because I went out earlier that day and Uzzaam convinced me to have pancakes at Paddingtons at 4pm -_-

Damn spoil appetite lah.
Damn waste money also. >.<

48 bucks for a plate of salmon sashimi I can get outside for less than 20 bucks.

I was doing fitting room duty and was making small talk with the customers as usual when this lady suddenly asked

"Whats your name?"

*pulls out name card* "Hi, if you're interested in a job please call me."


She works for Carlsberg and I'm still contemplating if I should call her.

I mean, if she's going to offer me a job selling beer to honry old men,
no way.

But it COULD be something better right?

and imagine the cash I'd get if I work anotheR job.

I spent my off-day yesterday rock climbing @ Camp5, 1Utama.

This morning,
I couldn't even grasp my toothbrush without wincing from pain every few seconds.

Sad no? :p

However, it waS mighty fun and if you have never gone rock climbing before,
the experience is good.

Be prepared to come home with blisters and sore arms though 0 : )

It costs RM28 per entry and you get to climb for the whole day.
Not too bad.


On top of everything,
my skin has decided to go on strike.

Besides having a HUGE zit planted right smack in the middle of my cheek,
my nose stud decided to pop itself out today right before work.

I stuck it back in but when I smiled,
miracles of miracles, it popped out again!

This recurred a few more times until I smiled for the zillionth time and my nose stud fell out to somewhere-in-the-middle-of-nowhere and I could NOT find it.

I was already 10 minutes late for work and my boss is a real dragon when it comes to punctuality so I thought
"Ahhh... just farkit"
and went to work nosestud-less :D

Now I can't make up my mind if I should get a new nose stud and stick it in or just leave it as it is and let my piercing heal.
Opinions?

In less than 24 hours,
BrandonLiu will be flying to Switzerland to study and I won't even be able to send him off because I have to work.

WorkaholicFiles Part2

The other day,
I had to go for an interview for this ushering job.

The pay they were offering was RM150 to work for 4 hours.

And all I had to do was show people to their seats.


The events manage guy, Ben, said that he needed a picture of us though.

I assumed it was for the client and pretty much panicked because the last presentable
"me, myself and I" picture I took of myself and actually developed was in Standard 2
:D

To top everything off, *as you all know*
my camera dieded on me.

NO PICTURES and I was supposed to meet the client at 2.45 pm that day itself.


I needed someone with a good camera and willing to layan poserish shots.

BryanChin popped into my mind because he has a tripod plus a freaking nice camera that is bigger than his head :D

At 1pm,
I rushed to Bryan's house and after an hour or so of posing, shots, adjusting camera angles and picking pictures,

We narrowed it down to these..

They aren't the best because we were hard-up for time.

Bryan had college at 2pm and I hardly had any makeup on because we were rushing like mad.

It turned out that Ben merely needed the pictures for my portfolio *or whatever*

I haven't been updating because I have been sososososo busy.
In addition, baby died on me and I've had no time to fix her. : (

I've been working for the past few days,
nonstop.

National Disaster

Once upon a time,
I forgot to bring my camera to a party and someone commented that a Sherve without a camera is "equivalent to a national disaster".

I did mine at Dragonfly, 1Utama for 6 bucks.

Finally, I have some time to myself.

The only bad thing that happened that night?

I didn't win the lucky draw with prizes ranging from Motorola phones(V3X and SLVR) to vacations to all sorts of places. (Giles won a stay to Avallion in Port Dickson)
