Red.
One of the boyfriend's favourite colours is red. :)

Favourite girl + Favourite colour = ?

I swam laps today, about twenty plus or so. I didn't really keep count.
When I do monotonous workouts such as swimming or jogging, my mind wanders everywhere.
I thought many things while doing the breaststroke today. There was one that I thought I should jot down somewhere and figured, hey, why not here?
You cannot say you're in love when you hold someone's hand and feel warm fuzzy feelings.
Neither does it count that everything feels perfect when you kiss.
Being in love does not mean merely thinking your partner is the most beautiful.
It also does not count if you spent your whole paycheck making your significant other happy.
What then, is love?
Love is when you swallow all your complaints when you had a very bad day because you know your partner had it worst.
Love is when you had the worst day of your life but you still take time to listen to your significant other rant about his/her day.
Love is when your partner throws up in your mouth and you still get that warm fuzzy feeling.
Love is when you still think he or she is the most beautiful when they actually look like one of the Orcs in Lord of the Rings to others... or when you're surrounded by beautiful people all the time but still think your partner outshines them all.
Love is when you stay to work things out even though your partner threw the bitchfit of the century.
Love is not saying 'I can't take this anymore' when you fight.
Love is treating your other half with care and respect. It also requires you to take your other half's feelings into consideration. You no longer think in terms of 'you' or 'me' but 'us'.
Love is when you do not need instant gratification. You're willing to wait because you know the pot of gold lies at the end of that rainbow you both share.

Okay, so I added the last one because I'm in a long distance relationship. If you didn't understand my quote about rainbows, the boyfriend's post on long distance relationships should make it pretty clear *click to read!*.
Love does require quite a lot of hard work after all, huh?
